We wish to acknowledge this land on which the University of Toronto operates. For thousands of years it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. We are mapping out and calculating shapes and sizes of care infrastructures in nine different countries – Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Italy, Kenya, Mongolia, Senegal, South Korea, and Sri Lanka – and use this information to develop gender-sensitive macroeconomic models of the care economies in these countries.
