Latin America has seen a number of intriguing developments in social policy in recent years. Ito Peng’s Care Economies in Context has two Latin American country cases: Colombia and Costa Rica. In addition, Latin American immigrants are a significant part of the research enterprise for some of the researchers, like Cynthia Cranford, who focus on North America.
