Ana Maria Tribin: Specialist in public policies at UNDP-LAC. She is an economist from Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. She has a master’s and a doctorate in economics from Brown University. Previously, she worked at the Central Bank of Colombia as a Senior Research Economist and as a High Presidential Advisor for Women’s Equality in the Government of Colombia. Her research areas include gender, migration, political economy, and development economics. Her work stands out in the areas of the effects of maternity leave in Colombia, the economic history of women’s role in Colombia, and domestic violence in rural areas.
