On November 11th, 2025, from 2:00 – 3:30 pm ET, Dr. Soonman Kwon presented a talk entitled “Healthy ageing and long-term care policies in Asia”. This talk provides an overview of the current status and challenges of healthy ageing and long-term care in terms of governance, financing, workforce, and service delivery. Many low- and middle-income countries in Asia experience limited coordination among health care, long-term care, and community social services, and coordination mechanisms are challenged by inadequate accountability, misaligned incentives, lack of funding and ineffective allocation.
The recording of the presentation and Q/A session is now available in English. You can watch it here or on our YouTube channel.
