Care Economies in Context; Caring Across Generations

“Healthy Ageing & Long-Term Care Policies in Asia”, Recording Now Live

The English recording of the latest version of the Care Economies in Context Speaker Series is available online.

On November 11th, 2025, from 2:00 – 3:30 pm ET, Dr. Soonman Kwon presented a talk entitled “Healthy ageing and long-term care policies in Asia”. This talk provides an overview of the current status and challenges of healthy ageing and long-term care in terms of governance, financing, workforce, and service delivery. Many low- and middle-income countries in Asia experience limited coordination among health care, long-term care, and community social services, and coordination mechanisms are challenged by inadequate accountability, misaligned incentives, lack of funding and ineffective allocation.

The recording of the presentation and Q/A session is now available in English. You can watch it here or on our YouTube channel.
