On May 5, Dr. Pat Armstrong presented “Creating the Conditions for Care,” a talk about the intersections between care quality and working conditions in care institutions. Dr. Armstrong’s presentation was followed by a rich conversation with participants from around the world, many of them members of the Global Alliance for Care. (Thank you to the Global Alliance for Care for arranging simultaneous English – Spanish interpretation!) The event shone a light on a simple but profound truth for care institutions across contexts — that the conditions of work are the conditions of care.
The recordings of the presentation and Q/A session are now available in both English and Spanish. You can watch them here or on our YouTube channel.
