Congratulations to the CGSP students receiving graduate fellowships!

Several of the PhD level trainees at the Centre for Global Social Policy have received prestigious fellowships from national competitions. This funding will support their training and dissertation research.

Alexa Carson

Kayla received a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship for her project, Addressing the mental health impact of unpaid care work through Bogotá, Colombia’s District Care System

Izumi Matsuzaki Niki

Izumi received a Canadian Graduate Scholarship from Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada for her project, Reframing Care and its Value in a Global Context: Research on Immigrant Care Workers Through an Intersectional Approach

Eugene Dim

Eugene received a Doctoral Scholarship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada for his project, Political Institutions and the Gender Gaps in Political Participation in Africa
