Nena Meftuh is an undergraduate at the University of Toronto studying Public Policy and Health Studies. She is interested in the intersections of health and public policy, and examining the social and political determinants of health. She has a keen interest in primary care, social justice and women’s health. She is excited to work as a research assistant, specifically as part of the Knowledge Mobilization team, where she works in contributing to research dissemination. Outside of work, Nena participates in non-for-profit advocacy and research that addresses the health promotion and social justice needs of the Somali and Ethiopian community.
