Luca Piccoli is an associate professor at University of Trento. He previously worked at University of Balearic Islands, Paris School of Economics, and University of Verona. He holds a PhD from University of Verona. Luca’s research focuses on three main areas: i) family economics, where he studies collective consumption models, time-use allocation, labor supply, intergenerational transmissions, and gender issues; ii) public economics, including optimal income taxation, social welfare, evaluation of public policies, and micro-macro simulation models; and iii) health economics, with a special interest on risky behaviors, time preferences, addiction and externalities of alcohol consumption.
