Karine is currently working as a Senior Research Analyst at Women and Gender Equality Canada. Her work is focused on advancing women’s economic participation and prosperity, including managing research projects related to the gender wage gap, improving gender balance across occupations, and promoting more equal sharing of paid and unpaid care work. She previously worked for other federal departments, including the Public Health Agency of Canada and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada. Prior to obtaining her Ph.D. in economics, Karine has worked for various non-profit organizations in Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.
