Julia Niebles completed her MA in the Sociology Department and the collaborative specialization in Development Policy and Power in the Department of Critical Development Studies at the University of Toronto. Her interests are in sustainable development, gender equality, and social policy. Julia has experience with community engagement initiatives on climate justice and research related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She was a former research fellow at the Data Science for Social Good program (University of British Columbia). She worked as a Research Assistant on the Care Economies in Context project in 2021 and 2022.
