In this piece, Maria Flores summarizes the various ways in which climate change impacts care provisioning, especially in the Global South. The article part of a series of articles initiated through a project led by the Southern Centre for Inequality studies, in collaboration with the International Development Research Centre and a group of feminist economists and climate scientists across the world. Maria Floro is a co-investigator on the Care Economies in Context project and is also affiliated with the Care and Climate Change project.
