- Prentiss Dantzler presented a paper at the International Planning History Society entitled, By Manager Request: The Impact of Racial Surveillance and Administrative Discretion on Eviction Rates in Early Atlanta Public Housing in July 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia. This paper was also presented during the Governing Space panel organized by the Community and Urban Sociology Section at the American Sociological Association in New York, NY.
- Prentiss Dantzler served on the Race and Gentrification panel during The Sociology of Race and Space Mini Conference at the American Sociological Association. This pre-conference was co-organized by the Community and Urban Sociology Section and the Section on Racial and Ethnic Minorities in order to bridge the gap between understanding space and society.
- The Housing Justice Lab at the University of Toronto has launched a new research partnership with Yonge Street Mission to study service-integrated and mixed-income housing models across Canada, informing the development and evaluation of YSM’s ELEV8 initiative and generating evidence to advance more affordable, supportive housing approaches.
