Settlement, Integration, and Stress: A five year longitudinal study of Syrian Newcomer Mothers and Teens in the GTA is a large, longitudinal study conducted with Syrian refugee parents and adolescents in the Greater Toronto Area.

Our mission is to work in partnership with newcomer families in our local area to produce high-quality sociological research on integration and wellbeing.

We are funded through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and the Province of Ontario’s Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Science.
